Jace and Celeste used to be friends and lovers, always having a close relationship. Celeste is his creator but she sat him free from herself and her house after an accident happened after over a thousand years of them traveling and living together. Jace was a normal human back in the days. He lived with his mom and dad in a small cottage and everything was normal until a new family moved to the town. The Morgenstern family. He met Celeste the day after they came to town and felt attatched already then. They fast became friends, and soon more than that. One night he asked her if she wanted to run away with him, and she rejected his offer. Not because she didn't want to, but because she had her a dark secret. When he found out she was a vampire, he asked her to turn him so they could be together forever. She didn't want to at first, but after a while she went with it and he was turned in to a vampire.
They traveled the world for a long time, their love and affection only growing for each other. But when Celeste was almost killed and Jace saved her, she knew she had to leave. And so he lived on without her, after she left him one night without a word. He haven't had a relationship to anyone after Celeste, but have many flings over the time, some longer than others, but none that he had the same feelings like he had with Celeste.
Now he is on his way to Chicago, hearing about the stirring that is around the houses, specially around the Chicago house that Celeste is running.
Personality;
Jace can be cold against people he do not know or don't like. He rarely show his true colors and usually push everything away with sarcasm and sass. But he would do everything he could to keep the people he love alive, and that is one of the reasons he didn't go after Celeste when she ran away.

Starting his life in a powerful family. He though, felt as a out cast because he didn't like the same as his family, nor did the same in his free time. Nicolas and his dad have never had a good relationship. But when his dad offered him up to the house in the town he lived in, the last string of toleration for his dad dissapeared. After being turned and habe been a vapire for a while, he saw it a his freedom. While training and spending time with the leader of the house, he find himself attracted to her and after a while they start a little something But as the darkness comes to the town, a fling from Celeste's past comes around and Nicolas do not know what to do about the matter. He loves her but doesn't want to get hurt if she choose Jace.

Jeanine has grown up with witches around herself and therefor didn't need to take the first year of Chicago Witch School when she turned sixteen. She is now on her third year and is a powerful witch since she is daughter of Marie Lightwood. The Lightwood's are strong witches and has been in large houses all the time. Jeani's mom used to be in Celeste's house but decided to go back home instead of stay in the house. Celeste and Marie has stayed in touch though, so Jeani knows about Celeste and was happy when she found out that she as going to stay in Chicago house. She and Celeste is quiet close and is one of Jeani's few friends in the vampire house.
The witch has always had the hots for one of the leaders in Celeste's guard team, but is unshure if he likes her the same way or if it is just as a friend. Jeani and Drake has spent some time together when she learned about the protection of the house and the vampires and witches inside of it.
Personality;
Jeanine is a person that have few friends, but isn't bothered about it. She loves to flirt, have fun and be a carefree person that has a laugh on her lips at all times. She is rarely serious but when she is, it's something to be really serious about. Jeani often gets herself in to trouble because of her big mouth, but also know how to speack her way out of it.

Drake changed his name after he was turned in to a vampire. His orignal name was Marcus and while being a human he used to be a careful, caring and calm person. He lived his family and was a happy child that never really was caught up in any trouble and he always did as his parents said. He was a dad's son though and used to be with him all the time, learning how to use different weapons and such. As a child he was recruited to be a solider, and his family thought he would not make it back home. and they were right. Out when he was a soldier he was shot and brought back to the nurses and doctors. There he met Celeste and she was only passing through when she met him. Seeing his injuries, she asked him if he wanted to live or die, and a second after he said he wanted to life, she changed him in to a vampire. He wasn't with her for a long while, but a few years he was traveling with her to learn about what he now was, and the rules of being a vampire, being trained and such. After around five years he started to travel alone, but still under the protection of Celeste and her bloodline. Marcus change his name to Drake Stonem and never looked back at his eariler life as a human and his family.
While the houses were made he searched up Celeste and said he wanted to come back and be in a family. When they moved in to the house of Chicago Celeste asked him if he wanted to be one of the guards of the house and he soon became the leader of the guards. A year or so ago a witch came to the house and got his attention right away, but he has always been shy and even if he's the ' big bad vampire' he rarely take the first step. He enjoy how carefree and how much fun she is to be around, and Drake rarely fall for someone, but when he does, he fall hard.

He act as if he isn't as shy as he is, and often hide behind sarcasm. Drake will do everything to protect the house, and his main focus is keeping the house safe, but his leader possition of the guards, make the leader of the house also one of the main person to protect no matter what happens. Drake likes to be alone, but he is a social person that also likes to go out and meet new people around the town, both witches, vampires and other species.
